LEARN TO COVER AND TRIM A JANE TAYLOR LONDON MOON SHAPED HEADBAND.
Covering and trimming is an essential skill to learn, and what better shape to be taught with than the one worn by a member of the Royal Family. Learn how to select suitable fabric and cover the band. Once covered, learn how to correctly attach trimming whilst thinking about creating a flattering design for the wearer’s face.
There’s a skill in choosing the right fabric for draping, it may be preferred for students to choose and purchase from selection available on the day with the assistance of the team. You’re of course welcome to bring your own if you’re confident in it’s suitability, ensure it has a good movement and a little give. Bring with you an apron, thimble and hat box.
There will be a lunch break, please bring your lunch. Tea and cake will be enjoyed during the afternoon (please inform the team of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance).
